The Boys & Girls Club of Montgomery County has a professional staff of full- time adult employees, a group of hand-picked, responsible part-time staff, and a host of qualified volunteers.
Staff Members are thoroughly trained, clear background checks, and are current on the changing trends throughout the youth movement. To promote personal and professional growth, staff members attend workshops and conferences offered by the Boys & Girls Club of America. These conferences serve as resource centers for staff members as well as a vehicle to enhance Club programs and services.

Erica Cummins – Art Director
Originally from Canada, Erica is the daughter of an artist & had a great deal of exposure to a variety of art forms from a very early age. With her roots and vision for the arts as a framework for life “that fills in the blanks”, Erica found her way into education and became a Montessori teacher before relocating to the U.S.
Joining the Boys & Girls Club team as Art Director in August of 2012, Erica develops and strives to create an ongoing art program that is comprised of weekly lessons on various subject matter and design crafts daily that go along with the subject. The result is a high yield learning activity, which has a built in mathematical or language component on a daily basis. I chose to be part of the team here at the Boys & Girls Club because I believe that all children regardless of their background deserve enrichment, encouragement and opportunity.
